UNESCO/Poland Fellowship in Poland 2024 Fully Funded

UNESCO is offering a fully funded fellowship called the UNESCO/Poland Co-Sponsored Fellowship in Engineering 2024. This fellowship provides an opportunity for Bachelor’s and master’s students to undertake a six-month research program in Science, Technology, and Engineering.

The UNESCO/Poland Co-Sponsored Fellowship is a joint initiative between UNESCO and the Polish National Commission. This program provides various facilities and financial support to selected participants. Here are the facilities offered by the Polish authorities:

  • Free Tuition and University Access: Fellows will have access to the university in Poland without having to pay any tuition fees. This allows them to engage in their research program without financial burden.
  • Monthly Allowance: BSc (Bachelor’s degree) students will receive a monthly allowance of 1800 PLN (Polish Zloty), while MSc (Master’s degree) students will receive 2200 PLN. This financial support helps cover their living expenses during the fellowship period.
  • Arrival Allowance: Upon arrival in Poland, BSc students will receive a one-time special allowance of 1800 PLN, and MSc students will receive 2200 PLN. This additional support aims to assist with initial settlement expenses.

Facilities Offered By UNESCO

  • Airfare Tickets: UNESCO will cover the cost of round-trip airfare travel tickets to and from the fellow’s home country. This ensures that the fellows can travel to Poland and return home at the beginning and end of the fellowship period without incurring any expenses.
  • Health Insurance: Participants will be provided with health insurance coverage during their stay in Poland. This ensures that they have access to necessary medical services and assistance if needed.
  • One-time Special Allowance: A one-time pocket allowance of US$120 will be provided to each fellow upon their arrival in Poland. This allowance can be used to cover initial expenses or any personal needs during the fellowship.
