MERIT:

The comparative merit of the applicants will be determined on the basis of overall adjusted admission marks obtained by them in these examinations.

  For applicants with F.Sc. (Pre − Engineering) or equivalent as highest qualification:

Marks obtained in FSc. (Pre − Engineering) or equivalent including sports, Hafiz − e − Quran & NCC/WG marks.	70%
Marks obtained in Entry Test.	30%

  For applicants with Diploma of Associate Engineer DAE as the highest qualification (for reserved seats only):

Marks obtained in DAE including sports, Hafiz − e − Quran & NCC/WG marks.	70%
Marks obtained in Entry Test.	30%

  For applicants with B.Sc. or BA Sc. as highest qualification:

Marks obtained in B.Sc. or BA Sc. Including sports, Hafiz-e-Quran Marks or F. Sc. (Pre Engineering) or equivalent including sports, Hafiz-e-Quran marks, in whichever a student has the highest percentage	70%
Marks obtained in Entry Test.	30%

Eligibility criteria

1.  Applicants should have passed the Intermediate Examination with Chemistry, Mathematics & Physics (Pre-Engineering) from the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education of Pakistan or equivalent examination recognized by UET Lahore.
2.    However, Intermediate Examination with Physics, Mathematics, (Computer Science or Statistics) shall be accepted only for admission in B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science.
3.    Applicants should have obtained at least 60% marks in F.Sc./DAE/B.Sc. examination excluding Sports/Hafiz-e-Quran or any other grace marks.
4.    Applicants should have at least 50% overall adjusted admission marks computed by giving 70% weight to F.Sc/I.CS/DAE/B.Sc examination results and 30% to university entry test 2024 results:
5. (F.Sc./DAE Obtained marks x 70) / (F.Sc./DAE Total marks) + (Entry Test Obtained marks x 30) / (Entry Test Total marks)
