The importance of agriculture in our country is worthy. In order to increase agricultural production, there was established first fertilizer plant in 1958. From that fertilizer, capacity has increased by both publicly and privately. To make research in this sector to solve the problem there was founded institute (Fertilizer Research & Development Institute) at Faisalabad in 1986. This institute was technically and financially supported by (UNIDO) with objectives to conduct research in the field of fertilizer and process industries. By this background and to meet country requirements was decided to upgrade FR&DI and started a Bachelor’s Degree program in Chemical Engineering in 1998. The research function was retained. By the approval of the Government of Pakistan University of Engineering & Technology granted the affiliation. In order to both educational and research, the institute was renamed as NFC-institute of Engineering and Fertilizer Research (IEFR). Institute works under the management of the National Fertilizer Corporation of Pakistan.

• DAE

• UET combined Entry Test
• Intermediate or Equivalent

1. Application Forms and Prospectus available at the admission office
2. The application form can get during office time (8:00 to 4:00 PM)
3. Fee for Form is Rs.1000
4. Other city students can get admission package from TCS offices
5. For Bachelor, a Program application form can be used for more than one category
6. However, For M.S.c Chemical Engineering separate application form is available with this prospectus
