The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Swat BISESS is a public sector department and educational governmental body in Malakand Division. This Board was earlier a part of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar and after its separation from this board when this area education school and colleges have increased day by day.
Government of Khyber Pakhtoon Kha gave it to full authority like other Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education which can hold and conducts the exams, assign duties of examiners, and register the educational institutes in the region. The board established in the year 1992, after two years of the divided combined Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Peshawar for the entire province.
