The BISE Malakand was established in 2003 as a result of bifurcation of BISE, Swat & have been functioning since then according to the NWFP Ordinance/Act 1990. The Malakand Board is responsible for controlling, organization, and regulation of education of more than 450 educational institutions in public as well as the private sector.
The exams mostly started in the month of March and end April while the BISE Malakand result is announced after two or three months of the examination. Malakand Board results of matriculation classes usually announce in the month of July every year and results for intermediate classes are announced at the start of September or the last of August every year.
