The Federal Ministry of Education and Vocational Training is a federal ministry of the Government of Pakistan. The political leader of the church is known as the Minister of Education of Pakistan, while the bureaucratic head of the ministry is known as the Secretary of Education of Pakistan.
Education has been principally a national concern in Pakistan because the 18th Amendment to the Constitution of Pakistan transferred the Department of Education from the Federation to the provinces.
