The Government of Gilgit-Baltistan is launching a project with the funding of UNDP in the Diamer and Astore Districts. Applications are invited for the following positions on a contract basis to be based are the Gilgit. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be paid.

Regional Coordinator:

Qualification

Master’s Degree in energy or environment, MBA, Engineering, social science, or other relevant academic discipline and professionals qualifications. Candidate should have at least ten years of relevant project management and implementation experience. Knowledge and experience of the respective work area and demonstrated experience in applying Results-Based Management tools in managing complex donor-funded projects

ENTERPRISE/ MARKETING SPECIALIST:

Qualification

MBA  in natural sciences pr social sciences preferably with a focus on enterprise development and for marketing. Candidate should be having 8 years of professional experience with a focus on community-based NTFP enterprise development, value chain development; post-harvest processing, and marketing are required.

PROJECT ASSISTANT:

Qualification:

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance or related discipline. Candidate must be having 7 years of experience in the financial management of GOP/NGO’S or development assistance work. Knowledge of computers, including basic hardware maintenance and use of recent accounting software, is necessary. Expertise in project budget formulation will be an added advantage.
