Ramadan First Roza 2023 Moon Sighted in Pakistan Punjab KPK

First Roza of Ramadan is expected to be on 18th or 19th June 2023 in Pakistan. It will be Thursday if 18th and Friday if 19th. Moon of Ramadan will be sighted on Wednesday or Thursday evening in Punjab and KPK.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and the month in which the Quran was revealed. Fasting during the month of Ramadan is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. According to the Quran, Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) first received revelations in the lunar month of Ramadan. Therefore, the month of Ramadan is considered to be the most sacred month of the Islamic calendar

Most of the educational institutes will remain closed during the month of Ramadan, as summer vacations also begin in the month of June. The timings of offices will be reduced to facilitate the muslims as they will be fasting.
