FOR BOTH MEN/WOMEN:  18 YRS. (MINIMUM) & 25 YRS. (MAXIMUM)

The upper age relaxation limit for SC/ST/ OBC is 5 yrs. as per govt. norms. For Ex- Servicemen: The upper age relaxation limit is of 3 yrs. added to the number of services rendered in Defense Force Department.

Degree required:

Candidate having Bachelor degree holder BA/Bsc or equivalent

Sub inspector height

FOR MEN: 5’ 7” (MINIMUM)

FOR WOMEN: 5’ 3” (MINIMUM)

Physical qualification for Sub inspector 

• FOR MEN:
  • In 7 minutes 1600 meters race ( Only 1 chance permitted)
  • Long Jump: Only 3 chances , 3.80 meters (Minimum)
  • High Jump: Only 3 chances, 1.15 meters  (Minimum)
• FOR WOMEN:
  • In 4 minutes & 30 seconds, 800 meters race ( only 1 chance )
  • Long Jump: Minimum 3 chances 3.00 meters.
  • High Jump: Minimum 3 chances 0.95 meters.
• FOR EX- SERVICEMEN: (35 yrs. & above)
  • Only 1 chance, in 12 minutes, 1400 meters race.
  • 10 Continuous Sit- ups (minimum).
• FOR EX- SERVICEWOMEN: ( 35 yrs. & above)
  • Only 1 chance, in 8 minute, 800 meters run/walk.

Computer Operator/Data Entry Operator:
