Objectives
• To establish a Center of Excellence in textile engineering in general and cotton processing in particular\
To produce professional textile engineers of high caliber and expertise to meet the demand of the textile industry of Pakistan.
• To enable the youth of Pakistan to acquire expertise in the different fields of textile engineering.
• To produce trained human resources for the textile process industry and textile machine manufacturing industry of Pakistan.

Eligibility criteria
F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) or Equivalent Examination must obtain 60% Marks.
Students with F.Sc (Pre- Engineering) / students with Diploma of Associate Engineering as Highest Qualification
i) 70% weightage to marks obtained in the Pre- Engineering or equivalent examination, including 20 marks for Hifz-e-Quran.
ii) 30% weightage to marks obtained in the entry test conducted by UET Lahore
Students who have done their B.Sc as Highest Qualification
i)35% weightage to marks obtained in B.Sc
ii) 35% weightage to marks H.S.S.C Pre- Engineering or Equivalent examination, including 20 marks for Hifz-e-Quran.
iii) 30% weightage to marks obtained in the entry test which is conducted by UET Lahore
