Kohat campus administration
The administrative and management control of Engineering Academic programs of Kohat University of Science and Technology was handed over to the varsity of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar on April 3, 2012. At present, the Kohat campus is offering B.Sc Electrical Engineering in leased premises, providing all necessary facilities to the students. The campus is located on Rawalpindi road, Kohat near Indus highway flyover.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Barrister Masood Kausar has given go-ahead for the abolishment of the Kohat Campus of Peshawar based University of Engineering and Technology at Sheikhan in Kohat on Saturday and acquisition of one thousand Kanal land, for which, he said, Rs.250 million have already been earmarked.
The campus to be developed on the pattern of a modern university will house the market-oriented disciplines with state of the art educational, research, and training facilities.
Eligibility Requirement in UET:
Must have passed FA / F.Sc./ ICS /A level or equivalent from a recognized institution with at least 60%marks / 1st division on the basis of the respective category of admission
Selection criteria
No. of seats is exclusively reserved for females in every program except MS and M.Phil Programs.
The Vice-chancellor is the final authority to accord approval to the list of selected candidates presented by the Admission Committee.
The Vice-Chancellor has the discretion to accept or reject the list of selected candidates.
(i) Admission shall be made on the basis of merit.
(j) The merit shall be determined on the basis of academic record, and entry-test conducted by the
University.
The distribution of marks for calculating the merit shall be as under:-
(i) Academic Record 60 %
(ii) Admission Test 40 %
