Isra University Hyderabad conducts an admission test which is mandatory for every candidate. The test consists of two parts with an intermediate phase of shortlisting for personal interviews. Students can apply through the admission kit provided by the Isra University Hyderabad Admission. The application form along with the prospectus and necessary information is included in the admission kit. This kit can be purchased from the admission office of Isra University Hyderabad Admission or from any branch of Soneri Bank.

Programs offered in Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology (FES&T) and Faculty of Commerce Economics and Management Sciences (FCE&MS), follow an academic year that comprises of two semesters of sixteen teaching weeks each, and a six-week summer session. The semester durations are generally as follows:

The results of IUAT (both parts) are compiled and reviewed by Isra University Admissions Committee. The Committee recommends only those students for admission who are considered academically outstanding and have a special aptitude for serving the community and the country of their permanent residence. The decision of the Committee is final and can not be challenged.

The results of the IUAT will neither be communicated on the telephone nor will be revealed to sympathizers and friends. The selection of the candidates for the MPhil and Ph.D. programs is based on correspondence in the case of foreign students and interviews of the candidates residing in Pakistan.
