Queen Merry College was established in 1908. Firstly it was founded for the education of the elite rulers of the states or judges, landed gentry. This institute was running as an English grammar school or private school. There were English females recruited to teach the students.

After 10 years its renamed and upgraded. It was named the Queen merry name as Queen Merry College in honor of queen consort of King George V. Within a very short time Queen Mary College get a good reputation due to excellent hard work.

Firstly college was started in 1908 with only 11 students and nowadays, the strength of college has reached to 7000 plus. There are 244 faculty members, which is a great milestone for Queen Mary College. It is a unique college system that here are students from class 01 to postgraduate.
