Punjab TEVTA Foreign Placement Center–Get Abroad Jobs 2024

TEVTA is taking an initiative to train people to get jobs abroad. For this purpose, TEVTA is establishing a Foreign Placement Center. Foreign companies will inform the TEVTA foreign placement center about their requirements, and TEVTA will send them the profiles of persons according to their demands. For this purpose, TEVTA will setup a database of skilled workforce.

TEVTA was formed through an Ordinance (No XXIV of 1999) promulgated by Governor of the Punjab which has now been replaced by TEVTA ACT (ACT X of 2010) Punjab. The mission of TEVTA is to enhance global competitiveness in Punjab, through a quality and productive workforce by developing demand driven, standardized, dynamic and integrated technical education and vocational training service.

Through this initiative, TEVTA Foreign Placement Center will play a vital role in decreasing the rate of unemployment and will help the country to get foreign exchange too. In 2024, the target of TEVTA is to train 400,000. Last year TEVTA trained 98,500 people. Out of them only 50% were employed and others are still waiting for their call.

TEVTA is introducing new job oriented courses and old unnecessary courses are being cancelled. TEVTA is consulting with industry experts and foreign donors for starting new courses of good scope. New courses of 3 and 6 months will be launched soon so that unemployed youth will be able to get reasonable job after completing short courses.

Free short courses are also being offered. Their duration will be 1 month. This initiative by TEVTA is a mile stone towards eradicating joblessness in the society and earning foreign exchanges.
