The Punjab Govt is planning to Consider Establishing the Elementary Board for 5th and 8th Class from 2023 and then PEC Punjab Examination Commission will be finished in 2023.
The Punjab Govt will be established the Elementary Board on the Divisional level as BISE board of Intermediate and Secondary Education is working on divisional level, There are 9 boards in the Punjab on the BISE Boards and May be Punjab Govt make Elementary board will 9 as well.
The Elementary board will be organized from next year its heard by the education news of Punjab. Nowadays government is planning on the procedure of establishment of Elementary board in Punjab for the 5th and 8th class.

According to official sources within three month’s duration an initial structure will be prepared for the 5th and 8th class Elementary board in Punjab and Punjab govt will finished its contract with the Punjab Examination Commission PEC. PEC Punjab Examination Commission was established in the 2005 and currently pec is working for the 5th and 8th class examination (PEC is the Official Body to conduct the Annual examination of 5th and 8th class exams but after some month Punjab govt will ended its contract with pec and will establish the elementary boards in the Punjab for 5th and 8th class examination.

Punjab Examination Commission is an autonomous body set up by the Government of the Punjab to assess and examine students’ learning achievements particularly of grade 5 and 8. PEC started functioning in 2005 and in 2006 conducted 5th grade population examination for the first time in the Province. Now PEC is a statutory body working under Punjab Examination Commission Act XI of 2010.
