A project by the government of Punjab Punjab Daanish Schools and centers of excellence authority is serving in many cities of Punjab. Rahim yar khan, Hasilpur, Chishtian, and Mianwali are the names of few cities where Danish schools are spreading knowledge and education successfully for many years.

The Danish school project is special because the chief Minister, Punjab, has made various interventions for poverty alleviation which is a core focus of the Government. One of the crucial interventions in this regard is the collective effort being made in the education sector. The Chief Minister is relentlessly perusing initiatives in the education sector encompassing access to education, the core content of quality, attendance of teachers, their training and ability to teach, up-gradation and standardization of curriculum, etc

“The Punjab Daanish Schools and Centers of Excellence Authority Act, 2010”, was passed in February 2010. Given the commitment of the Government, the Authority is headed by the Chief Executive i.e. Chief Minister of the Province himself. It has a body of legislative members, well-known educationists, members of the international community, as well as related bureaucracy.

In Phase-I, the Danish Schools have been established in the Southern Region of Punjab, where the need is greatest. Construction for the following schools started in September / December 2009. These schools are fully functional now:

• Rahim Yar Khan  (Boys & Girls)
• Hasilpur (Bahawalpur) (Boys & Girls)
• Chishtian (Bahawalnagar) (Boys & Girls)

Rules and regulations for applying

Eligibility is a minimum master degree, 1st division In Urdu English 2nd division is acceptable At least 50% marks should be a score in stage terminal exam 5 years of teaching experience is required English communication skills should be excellent The application should be submitted with  CNIC copy, copies of educational documents and passport size pictures All candidates will be select on the two years contract basis Candidate will be select initially on the basis of one year contract No TA/DA will be assembled to any candidate Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview
