Post of Research Officer-cum-Speech Writer (BS-17): 5 positions are vacant for this post. The age limit defined by the National Assembly Secretariat NAS is 28 years and relaxation may be admissible in the upper age limit according to rules.
Pakistani national having domiciles of either Punjab or Sindh or Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are eligible to apply. Seats have been reserved according to quota i.e. 1 seat for Sindh, 2 seats for Punjab, and 2 seats are reserved for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa domicile holders.
Qualification and Experience: 2nd class Master’s degree in Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Agriculture, Strategic Studies, LLB, MBA, MPA, or International Affairs. At least three years of post-graduate work experience of conducting objective, evidence-based research and producing and delivering research briefings/reports on public policy in each of the areas applying for a position. Experience in writing speeches in English will be preferred.
The procedure of submitting applications: Registration forms are available online. You can download the form from this page or go to the official page of NTS. The test fee is 600 Rupees and it must be deposited through the prescribed slips of ABL, UBL, HBL& MCB. Candidates are required to send their prescribed Application Form along with online deposit slip (in original) at NTS Headquarters, 1E, Street No.46, Sector I-8/2, Islamabad.
The test fee deposited is non-refundable. Mobile phone/Laptop etc are not allowed in test centers premises. The application submitted by hand will not be accepted. Applications submitted past the last date will not be entertained. The last date to apply is 2020.
