While registering a new car/ bike etc, number plate will be issued by Motor-Registration office. Auto-mobile owners, who have not yet paid for the registration of number plate are advised to pay the price to the linked motor registration office, so that their number plates are delivered to them at their homes.
Government of Punjab has started issuing computerized number plates for car, motorcycle, commercial vehicle and rickshaw since 20th of November, 2023.
Those auto mobile owners who have paid the price and have not yet received the number plates are requested to fill the registration form carefully and then send it to the associated office.

The rates for different auto-mobiles’ plates are:
Car: 1200 rupees
Commercial vehicle: 1200 rupees.
Rickshaw: 550 rupees
Motor cycle: 400 rupees
Terms and conditions:
You must be the owner of the vehicle for which you are registering the number plate.
If u have changed your vehicle or bought a new one or sold the old one, you have to report this to the concerned department. Then you will fill the form to get the number plate.
All the token taxes of the vehicle must be paid till 30th June, 2023.
State your full address and your contact number so that you may receive the number plate delivered at your house, through courier service.
Always use the number plate allotted by the motor registration office.
