And then the Government of Khyber Pakhtoon Kha established a new department of Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) Khyber Pakhtoon Kha under the special Government Education Act in 1998.

At that time the student is facing many problems for preparation of the study and examination, in the start time many students fail to attempt the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency ETEA tests because it was newly launched. Now, ETEA is determined to attain the testing object in a method that may calculate the spirit of inquiry.
Educational Testing and Evolution Agency (ETEA) holds the entrance test for admission in different engineering universities, colleges, and Institutes, and Medical colleges of Khyber Pakhtoon Kha. ETEA MCAT and ETEA ECAT consist of 200 marks. ETEA paper pattern is consists of Multiple Choice Question (MCQs) type objective questions.

Fee Structure:
University admission and two semesters fee and funds for the academic year are payable in advance at the time of admission to B.Sc. Engineering classes. The candidates shall not be allowed to sit in the University examination if they have any amount overdue to be paid.

How to Apply
The applicants can apply through www.enggentrancetest.pk online.
The applicants deposit an entry test fee of RS 2500/- (which is non-refundable) in any UBL United Bank Limited.
UET Account Number is 205505522.
After the fee deposit, the applicants received a receipt that has 10 digits transaction number.
Eligibility criteria:
The applicants must pass the intermediate Pre-Engineering from any recognized board.
The applicants who are waiting for the result of FSC/DAE part 2 are also eligible to apply for the Entry Test.
Candidates applying for open merit seats must have a Khyber Pakhtoon Kha domicile.
Applications of candidates, whose examination results are not declared till the last date of submission of admission forms, shall not be considered for admission.
This test is for the students applying for Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, and other Engineering. This test contains the following subjects with their marks.
