Admissions 2024

• Since the admission form is a legal document, any wrong information provided there-in, over-writing, or tampering in any other way is illegal and may result in rejection of the form outright.
• The final merit list of the candidates for each district/category will be prepared by calculating the overall merit

After the receipt of the results of the Pre-admission Test, a comprehensive merit list is prepared for each district/category, and a number of candidates are called for interview before the Admission Committee.

Eligibility Criteria for admission 2024 in NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi

• Equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• NED University does not accept any qualification without subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, equivalent to Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Pre-Engineering.
• Candidates must also have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Pre-Engineering Examination with at least 60% aggregate marks.

Pre Admissions Entry Test

• For admission to the NED University candidate has to qualify Pre-Admission Entry Test of the University based on the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) level subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

OR

• Foreigners and Overseas Pakistani candidates may take SAT examination in lieu of the Pre-Admission Entry Test – he/she must score at least 800 and 1500 respectively in SAT I and SAT II in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
