MBBS Program

The Course, curriculum, and examinations for the Degree of M.B.B.S. are governed by the rules and regulations of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council currently in force and as amended from time to time and as adopted by SSCMS/the University of Karachi.

The courses of studies for M.B.B.S. normally extend for a period of five academic years. The year-wise break-up of the main courses/subjects/examinations shall be as follows

How to Apply

The information, prospectus, and application forms can be obtained from the College reception at a cost of   Rs. 3,000/-

The information about fees and time frame for filing an application is given in the prospectus. The completed application form together with the required supporting material and non-refundable application fee must be submitted to the Admission Committee on or before the last receiving date given in the table for receiving application forms.

Applications received without fee will not be processed. Once acknowledged, an application cannot be withdrawn. The application fee may only be paid through a bank draft/pay order in the name of SSCMS, drawn on a bank having a branch in Karachi. Fees in cash or by any other mode will not be accepted.

It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to comply with all the instructions given on the Application form and submit it before the due date. Incomplete applications and applications received after the last date will not be processed.

Eligibility Requirement:

• Candidate must have passed FA / F.Sc./ ICS /A level or equivalent from a recognized institution  with at least 60% marks / 1st division on the basis of the respective category of admission

BDS

The hospital has a sufficient flow of patients for students to learn clinical work under the supervision of qualified and experienced staff. Sir Syed Hospital also includes lecture halls for students of 3rd and 4th year BDS. For 1st and 2nd year BDS students, lecture halls have been established in the college facilities on the main campus.
